Areas of Expertise

Individual Therapy

As a marriage and family therapist, I provide a safe and supportive space for individuals, couples, and families to explore and address their challenges. Through a compassionate and collaborative approach, I help clients navigate through relationship issues, communication difficulties, and family dynamics.

Group Therapy

Group therapy can be a powerful tool for personal growth and healing. By sharing experiences and insights with others in a supportive environment, individuals can gain new perspectives and develop coping skills. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, or other mental health challenges, group therapy can provide a safe and effective way to work through your issues and achieve greater well-being.

Parental Support and Coparenting

It's natural to want the best for your child, but its not always easy to navigate the challenges that arise along the parenting journey. I can provide practical guidance for everything from managing behavior to fostering healthy relationships with your family.

An outside perspective can be a valuable resource for parents who are navigating the challenges of raising children in separate households. Through counseling, mediation, or other forms of support, parents can communicate effectively, resolve conflicts, and prioritize the needs of their children. By working together, parents can create a positive and stable environment that promotes healthy development and strong family relationships.

My Approach

Alternative Therapies

Equine Therapy

Equine therapy, also known as horse therapy, is a unique approach that utilizes the human-horse connection to promote emotional growth and healing. Engaging with horses has been proven successful in lowering blood pressure, heart rate, stress, anxiety, and depression. It also nurtures self esteem and independence, helps develop valuable life skills, work through emotional barriers, and models healthy boundary setting

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I focus on spontaneous teaching moments that arise while interacting with horses. This experience is like no other as the client learns about themselves through the guidance of myself, and more importantly, the feedback of our horse partner.

Emotional Support Animals

Emotional support animals can help alleviate symptoms of anxiety and depression, as well as reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation. The comfort and peace animals bring to individuals can make emotional processing more accessible and enhance social engagement.

Art Therapy

Art therapy offers a creative outlet for self-expression and exploration. Through the use of various art forms, individuals can communicate and process their emotions, experiences, and inner thoughts in a non-verbal manner, fostering personal growth and insight.
